Upcoming Events of Interest to Canadian Exporters – Nov. 30-Dec. 6

There will be lots of economic news this week that could have a significant impact on exporters, with interest rate announcements in both Canada and the Eurozone, and reports from Canada and the United States on their respective trade figures. EDC will be offering a free webinar on Thursday on how to overcome export challenges and succeed, and will be partnering with the Forum for International Trade Training and the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) on the CME’s new Export Success Training Program to be held in various locations across Canada until the end of December. EDC Chief Economist Peter Hall wraps up his tour of major Canadian cities to discuss the Global Economic Forecast Fall 2015 Report, with stops this week in Ottawa, Toronto and Mississauga. And Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in Paris to attend the Leaders Event of the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 21) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
