Upcoming Events for Canadian Exporters (Dec 14 – Dec 20)

A weekly look at some upcoming events of interest to Canadian exporters

There are several important economic reports being issued this week in both Canada and the United States that will be of interest to exporters and potential exporters. These include reports on the Consumer Price Index in both countries, and a Statistics Canada report on travel to and from other countries. Given the importance of the U.S. market to Canadian exporters, a report on housing starts in the United States and the U.S. Federal Reserve’s announcement on interest rates should give an indication of the strength of the U.S. economy. And if you missed any of EDC’s free webinar series on how to grow your business through exporting, all three webinars are now available for viewing on demand.
